Over the last 8 weeks we’ve been helping a brand with a science / tech product that is launching across MedSpas in 2023. Here’s 5 things we’ve learned about MedSpa business marketing across the course of our research,

  • MedSpa businesses as a whole aren’t doing MedSpa advertising well. This includes leveraging local business marketing, email marketing, and SMS / text marketing. 

  • Many MedSpa owners have tried Facebook and Instagram Paid advertising but have had their accounts disconnected or banned because of crummy agency services that didn’t pay attention to the MedSpa advertising rules around prohibited advertising content.

  • There’s too much friction in the process of booking MedSpa services. MedSpa businesses are not utilizing online reservation and payment systems. Saving customers time and collecting upfront payment is a no brainer. 

  • MedSpas are not creating subscription services. Subscriptions are simple to create and can produce a great return on investment for those services which are delivered monthly or quarterly. 

  • Medical Spa Marketers are not focused on leveraging affiliates, referrals and micro creators. With the rise of MedSpa and Beauty Services on TikTok and Instagram, investing time in creating a referral program can be an incredible way to gain more business.
